Do you already have a active Red Hat subscription?

Hi , Yes we have action subscription. I can login and see on web browser

RHSM logs says :

[ERROR] rhsmcertd-worker:13812:MainThread @rhsmcertd-worker:45 - Either the consumer is not registered or the certificates are corrupted. Certificate update using daemon failed.

Please let me know if any solution. This is RH 7 and things used to work fine in past

HI Piyush

You can do subscription-manager refresh and then try to register again , If your certificates are corrupted you can try to reinstall subscription-manager

Hi Piyush,

Executing these commands should solve the problem :

sudo subscription-manager remove --all
sudo subscription-manager unregister
sudo subscription-manager clean

sudo subscription-manager register
sudo subscription-manager refresh
sudo subscription-manager attach --auto

Regards,
Christian

Hi Christian, i tried above commands yesterday from several RH forums. But unfortunately it didnt work. I had VM's which were already subscribed using same account which i tried unregisted clean all and reregister which kept failing.

When We tried our admin account it worked fine. I am not sure what has changed recently with my account. It used to work fine.

So i suspect there are some problems with permission for my account only.

The error message doesnt tell us clearly what can be the issue. We will raise a support request

Hi Piyush,

It can only be done from an admin account or from someone who has admin rights for the Red Hat account.
In case that an administrator can't solve the problem, best advice would be to contact Customer Support. :)

Regars,
Christian

HI Piyush

Have you tried to reinstall subscription manager itself .

Thanks Sadiq

No Mohammed i have not tried reinstall subscription-manager as admin account was able to subscribe it. I feel there is some issue with permissions. I will check internally and open support case else
