Simple scan or other scanning software

Hi, I would like to know if simple scan, or other scanning software is available on RHEL 7.5? If so, how can I download it from repository? Thanks!

Hi GD,

The package simple-scan is available in the EPEL repository - to install it execute the following commands :

sudo subscription-manager repos --enable rhel-7-server-extras-rpms
sudo subscription-manager repos --enable rhel-7-server-optional-rpms

sudo rpm -Uvh https://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/epel-release-latest-7.noarch.rpm

sudo yum update
sudo yum install simple-scan

Replace "server" with "desktop" or "workstation" in the commands if you're using one of those RHEL editions. :)
