Hi Son Le,

Have you checked that the latest version of PowerPath is supported for RHEL 6.4? Also did you make sure that the new powerpath devices are allowed by your lvm.conf filter, both on the running system before reboot and the ramdisk?

I am afraid you need a support case at Red Hat and the vendor of PowerPath to get your issue fixed.

so thanks yes the new version of powerpath support redhat 6.4 also opened case on redhat but powerpath and os can support my previous disks just when create new lun on storage and add it to os can not detect new disks

Hi Son Le,

I did not see your attached pic. However, I think the issue is related to "filter" part in the lvm.conf. You may be able to boot from a CD/DVD into rescue mode. There should be a backup lvm.conf file under /etc/lvm which was backed up by the powerpath. Comparing them could be a good way to tell the root cause.
