RH403 capsule install failing due to missing packages

Latest response

When running the last step of installing a capsule, I get puppet errors saying that it is unable to find packages to install with yum. The packages are:

capsule.lab.example.com-qpid-router-client
capsule.lab.example.com-apache
capsule.lab.example.com-puppet-client
capsule.lab.example.com-qpid-router-server
capsule.lab.example.com-qpid-broker

What repository am I missing? I cannot find any steps that I have missed, but I won't discount that as a possibility.

Thanks,
Jason

Jason,

Just an educated guess. I think the problem may lie with the result of your chapter 1, section 6 lab, Guided Exercise: Synchronizing Red Hat Content

In this exercise, you should have imported the Satellite tools channel, which is what is likely being looked for with your satellite-install command.

Another possibility is that your foreman host is set incorrectly to the capsule instead of the satellite, which might explain why the complaint is of not being able to find missing packages on the capsule system.

If you continue to struggle, I'd suggest opening a support case since the Technical Support Engineers (TSEs) can look at your lab systems, which community members can not.
