Custom repos

Latest response

What do I need to do in order to have custom repositories make available to my clients registered to sat 6.2? For an example; let's just say I have created a custom repo named 'local-repo-webapp-repo' and I will be pushing custom rpms on this repo. Now, I need to make this available on my newly registered RHEL 7 client so that when I run 'yum repolist' this custom repo shows up.
I tried creating an activation key for this task and registered the client, however, looks like I am confused with what subscription should be assigned to it since it's a custom repo. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks Muhammad for the link. I created custom product and custom repos to attach it to the product. I also created an activation key for it and assigned subscription to it. However, when I register client with this activation key, those custom repos do not show up while doing "yum repolist". Have you gone through this issue by any chance?

Did you also add you custom repo(s) to the Content View used by your client, and publish a new version of the CV?
