trying to change Lun id and need to know what to change on a Oracle RAC
have physical OS drive and want to change to boot from San problem is that RAC has assigned 7 Lun's from 0 to 6 need Lun 0 to boot from San how will it affect RAC ?

Are you using ASM? Are the disks marked as ASM disks when you run:

oracleasm listdisks

Been ages since had to deal with RAC's persnicketies, but it should be probing devices for metadata headers "figuring out" your storage based on that data.

Also, unless your existing LUNs and the LUN you want to use for booting are coming from the same SAN or path-to-SAN (and depending on other presentational-capabilities of your SAN), you should be able to have multiple "0" numbered LUNs visible to your host.

Unless you've got something like hard-coded udev rules (and, even there, it depends what property you've used to hard-code them), you should have a relatively free hand to move storage devices around.
