  • virt-manager/KVM on ppc64le

I've been trying to get a p8 host (S822L) set up as a KVM host, but virt-manager always gives the error "Internal error: Cannot find suitable emulator for ppc64le".

I've found some documents that say I should make a link for qemu-system-ppc64le to qemu-system-ppc64 in /usr/bin.

None of that exists, and yum can't find it in any of my configured repos:
    rhel-7-for-power-le-optional-rpms/7Server/ppc64le Red Hat Enter 10,705
    rhel-7-for-power-le-rpms/7Server/ppc64le Red Hat Enter 13,160
    rhel-7-for-power-le-supplementary-rpms/7Server/ppc64le Red Hat Enter 124
    rhel-7-server-for-power-le-rhscl-rpms/7Server/ppc64le Red Hat Softw 1,112
    rhel-7-server-rhev-tools-for-power-le-rpms/7Server/ppc64le Red Hat Enter 6
    rhel-7-server-rhv-4-tools-for-power-le-rpms/7Server/ppc64le Red Hat Virtu 16

I enabled both rhv4 and rhev repos in order to get a broader search, but I come up blank across the board.

I must be missing something obvious, as there are no special "You must enable these specific repos for any of this to work" in the virt-manager posts I've found on IBM's site.
