rh-mariadb102-mariadb-10.2.8-5.el7.x86_64 install and configure

I have php7 running under httpd24 -> /opt/rh/httpd24/root/etc/httpd/conf/
I wanted to install mariadb 10.2
and I did the following:

]# yum install rh-mariadb102-mariadb

Package 1:rh-mariadb102-mariadb-10.2.8-5.el7.x86_64 already installed and latest version
Nothing to do
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now I am looking for a standard configuration guide.

I am even trying to figure out how to start the service:
systemctl ?
Please help.
