Question about output of last command

Latest response

When looking at the output of the last command, I believe that the last column is the length of time the session was logged in, but what does it mean when there is a number added to the beginning? Is that days? Thanks.

Hello Jameson,

correct: the format is days+hours:minutes since login. If days is zero, the leading part is removed.
