  • obtaining full release media?

The RHEL installation media does not contain a full set of RHEL packages. Many additional packages are on the Main and Optional repository channels. I need to obtain the full set of RPMs from the initial RHEL release. Is there a way to get them from Red Hat, either on DVD or some other way?

Our RHEL systems are in a locked room that does not have Internet access (we only patch critical vulnerabilities and do so manually). The systems are not able to subscribe to updates, and we don't care about updates. We only want the packages that were available at the time of release.

For example the mod_auth_form RPM and associated dependencies are not on the installation media but are on the Main repository. We need these packages. We cannot access them through the update channel because we do not have an update subscription and do not have Internet access from those systems anyway. We need the complete set of software from the original release. How do obtain the complete operating system release media?
