Note that the RPM package tigervnc in RHEL 7 contains the VNC client utility only, usable as command vncviewer.

For VNC server, you need RPM package tigervnc-server and a bit of set-up. Please see this document: https://access.redhat.com/solutions/966063

Both the client and server sides work for me.

Hi Matti thank you for the response. I ended up getting it running by using the command vncserver. Cant get it it auto start up so it must be manually started each time.

Hello, TigerVNC including its installation and configuration is documented in Red Hat Enterprise Linux System Administrator's Guide. Is there anything important that you miss to be able to make it work? Please, let me know if something in this documentation can be improved.
