trouble registering a system

Hello,
I've purchased the red hat enterprise server self support.
I'm trying to register a server (RHEL 5.8) from the RHN Registration within the Applications -> System Tools, but it reports that I do not have any active subscriptions available.

I purchased and have 1 active subscription available.

i thought RHEL5.x was EOL?

It is but we've chosen to not migrate these otherwise stable servers. The good news is I discovered some tools (more like stumbled upon) that helped me find the problem. There was a system that I wasn't aware of that was still registered in RHN. Once removed I was able to move forward.

Glad you got it fixed - I'm currently working on migrating from 6 to 7. I have in the past migrated a bunch of hosts from 5 to 6, it was pretty straight forward, they were running Oracle DBs, took a few days to sort that mess out, but it worked in the end.
