Vmware workstation 12 will not launch
after installing VMware workstation 12 it will not start does anyone have a solution for this ?

You don't provide any details about what exactly you've done and this makes it impossible to help you finding a proper solution.
Please tell us how you installed vmware on which RHEL edition. One important thing : did you reboot the system afterwards ? :)

sorry should add more details, each time i try to start the application it crashes and shows virtual machine monitor fail to start.
Starting VMware services: Virtual machine monitor fail Virtual machine communication interface done VM communication interface socket family done Blocking file system done Virtual ethernet done VMware Authentication Daemon done Shared Memory Available done

Hi Edward, did you disable Secure Boot in the BIOS of your machine ? In case not - please do it ! :)

Hi Edward,
I have checked the internet and saw that a huge amount of users are having problems with vmware. Disabling Secure Boot was what fixed the issue in many cases. I don't use vmware, so unfortunately I'm not able to provide further advice - but I can recommend the free virtualization solution KVM in favor of vmware. I am using it for years and the performance of the virtual machines is great - they are running as if being installed on bare metal. If you're interested, I'll tell you what you need to do.
