Can't log in after adding user to staff_u semanage group

For some reason, after adding an admin role user to the staff_u selinux group, I cannot log in as that user. Upon entering the username and password, I see it attempt to login, I am presented with the desktop wallpaper, but then almost immediately bumped back out to the login screen.

Removing the user from the semanage group allows them to log in.

Not sure where I should look...
