Anybody running Red Hat Enterprise Linux Desktop 7 on Dell Latitude E6540?

I have RHEL 7 Desktop installed on a Dell Precision M4800 and it works fine after disabling "Switchable Graphics" in the BIOS. But the Latitude doesn't have the same option to disable "Switchable Graphics", so when the system boots to the login screen, I can enter my username and password, then the laptop shuts down (powers off), before the GNOME Desktop comes up.

The symptoms are similar to what I was experiencing with the Precision M4800 which is why I believe that it is due to switchable graphics. There is also an error message during boot stating that the Radeon controller is unknown and that problems may occur.

I can switch to a virtual terminal and everything works fine. It's just when logging into the desktop, that the laptop shuts down.
