Is there any mechanism to restart VM automatically without HA functionality

In my self hosted engine setup I am creating new VM with guest OS. I am not opting HA functionality for this new VM. Now my query is: Is there any mechanism to restart VM automatically when guest OS hung / VM goes down abnormally?
