Changing the errata alerts sender's email

Latest response

Is there a way to set/change the errata alerts sender’s email on the web interface? If not, where do I need to go to that? Thanks!

Hello

If you navigate to Administer -> Settings and search on email you will see what settings are currently supported.

Please raise a support case if you need something more.

Thank you

I do not see "Administer" on my Satellite console anywhere. I see "Admin", but no way to search, and no settings for email. We are running Satellite 5.7.0.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. Could you please change the tag "satellite_6" to something else?

Changed tag.

In case anyone needs it, for Satellite 6, the Users and Roles chapter of the Red Hat Satellite Server Administration Guide includes a section "Configuring Email Notifications".

EDIT: sorry, link to Sat6 guide not relevant here as the question was meant for Sat5.

This answer does not applies to my question, I don't think it has anything to do with setting the Satellite's server default email address, the one that shows on the "from:" header on the errata emails the Satellite server sends.

Hello, its not good news, but this Red Hat Knowledgebase solution is relevant for this question for Sat5 How can I change the EMAIL_FROM field to satellite-sync notifications.

EDIT: But there is a Red Hat Bugzilla linked from that. Raise a support case and reference that Bugzilla number.

Thanks, yet I do not think this applies. It is not the Satellite sync notifications I am after, it is the errata notifications ("Red Hat Satellite Errata Alert: RHSA ...") and status reports ("Red Hat Satellite Daily Status Report for [insert date here]").
