Run subscription-manager list --consumed. It will display the start, end dates and type of each attached subscription. Check you have valid subscriptions on Red Hat portal

This is the output of the command: Provides Management-No Active-True Quantity Used-1 Service Level-Premium Service Type-L1-L3 Status Details-Guest has not been reported on any host and is using a temporary unmapped guest subscription. Subscription Type-Standard (Temporary) Starts-03/30/2017 Ends-05/17/2017 System Type-Virtual

and when going to the portal, i can see that my subscriptions are active till 2018

Your server is registered with a a temporary unmapped guest subscription.

Create an activation key on the portal and attach the valid (expiring 2018) subscription to it. Then re-register your server using the activation key.

If you know that you are having a subscription that is valid for a longer time, you should contact the Customer Support. In case that you are using the free Developer edition of RHEL Server - they are fighting an issue with the renewal of subscriptions which is not solved as of now.
