RH436 and iscsi

Latest response

Hello,

I used to shutdown the lab at the end of my day.

At reboot (let say the next day), my nodes are not able to find the iscsi disks.

I need to re-run the "lab hacluster setup" in order to have the server presenting the disks back again (the wwn change doing that). Looks like the config on the iscsi server is not persistent...

The setup script likely doesn't do a 'save' of the configuration once it's been applied. If you fire up iscsiadm and do a save command, it should then persist the configuration to survive reboots.

According to the documentation here if the root partition is not on an iscsi and no nodes are se to automatic it will not mount them after a reboot.

What I commonly do in production systems is to set the autologin for all targets with

[root@server1 ~]# iscsiadm -m node -L automatic
