Would like to have parted in a version which includes the resizepart command

Good evening,

I was surprised that the parted version provided in rhel 7 has no command to resize a partition. The resize command was removed from parted after version 2.4. But in the documentation of parted section 2.4.10 there is the command

resizepart

As mentioned in Bugzilla Bug 1423357 I would like to get parted upgraded to a version which provided the new command to resize a partition. Please subscribe to the bug and leave a comment if you would like to have this feature, too. I hope that I am not the only one who like to get this feature.
