Errors when importing new manifest

Latest response

We just had a procurement go through for a renewal of our current licensing. I downloaded a new manifest from the Redhat portal and when I went to import it into our Satellite server, I got this error:

"Error importing manifest. No such file or directory @rb_sysopen - /opt/theforeman/tfm/root/usr/share/gems/gems/katello-3.0.0.94/ca/redhat-uep.pem"

I did find redhat-uep.pem, but it was under the following folder (note the version # was incremented by 1)

"Error importing manifest. No such file or directory @rb_sysopen - /opt/theforeman/tfm/root/usr/share/gems/gems/katello-3.0.0.95/ca/redhat-uep.pem"

How can this be corrected?

Paul

Err, apologies, that last line was a copy/paste without the proper engagement of the brain first. Ignore that "error importing manifest ..." part - I only intended to post the folder the *.pem file was located in.

That redhat-uep.pem file was located in the following directory:

/opt/theforeman/tfm/root/usr/share/gems/gems/katello-3.0.0.95/ca/redhat-uep.pem

Having the same issue at my site. Anyone have any guidance before I open a support case? Thanks.

Sean,

I believe there were some recent issues with the Customer Portal which affected manifests. Please do raise a support case as that's likely to be the quickest method of resolving your issue.

Sorry, I was slow to get back to this thread. I did have a ticket open for this issues - the resolution was surprisingly simple. I just copied the redhat-uep.pem file into the folder where the importer was looking for it, in this case "/opt/theforeman/tfm/root/usr/share/gems/gems/katello-3.0.0.94/ca/redhat-uep.pem". The import then had no issue after that.

Thanks Paul. That fixed my issue as well.
