Pacemaker missing?

Latest response

Hi All,

Im trying to setup a cluster for the first time so i can get a grip of it but from what i have been reading you need something called "pacemaker" which i cant seem to find via Yum which is instructed by official red hat documentation.
Link:
https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Linux/7/html-single/High_Availability_Add-On_Administration/index.html#s1-clusterinstall-HAAA

I have however found source for this program but would like to make sure im not missing or doing something wrong?

Any help would be fantastic?

Thanks

Hello Andrew,

Do you have a subscription for RHEL server and a subscription for High Availability add-on?

As you post this under HPC I am confused, for a HPC cluster works differently.

Kind regards,

Jan Gerrit

Now i have a RHEL sub but im not sure about the HA add-on which im currently just looking into.

My apologies for the incorrect place just not sure where to go from here

Pacemaker is provided in the repository for the HA add-on and is not included in the main RHEL repository. If you do have the add-on licensed then you need to subscribe the servers to the channel for that add-on (for RHEL 7 rhel-ha-for-rhel-7-server-rpms) in addition the main RHEL 7 channels.
