Steps for not disabling AES-256-based ciphersuites on the server. -Sweet 32 attack

What command or parameters can be set which wont disable AES-256-based ciphersuites on the server in the system level for RHEL5 so that applications using openssl are not affected by the sweet 32 attack.

Also wanted to know which other RHEL tools/packages which uses OpenSSL internally which needs to be patched or the configuration files needs an update which resolves the sweet 32 attack
