virt-who, subscriptions and KVM cluster
Hello,
I was wondering if someone already had some issues with virt-who and pacemaker cluster running KVM resources?
Since every node of the cluster has all the KVM defined (even if not running, for failover), virt-who reports all of them to Satellite which seems to mess up.
All the guest content hosts are reported running on the same hypervisor, and so marked as invalid (for those not running on this hypervisor).
I didn't find anything in the doc. Anyone has a similar config?
Regards,
Jeremy

Hello, there are two bugzillas relating to duplicate names when using virt-who. I suggest you raise a support case.
Bug 1314902 - 2 virt-who reporting on the same hypervisor using local libvirt and remote libvirt methods creates duplicate systems. This on is already resolved: Bug 1227986 - It will show two same hostnames on SAM/Satellite when monitoring the same machine.
