My setup:

echo "# SNMP configuration"
rocommunity somecommunity
sysContact admin@domain.com
sysDescr Description
sysLocation Location
dontLogTCPWrappersConnects 1" > /etc/snmp/snmpd.conf

Change the logging settings to avoid spamming syslog

sed -i 's/# OPTIONS/OPTIONS/g' /etc/sysconfig/snmpd /etc/sysconfig/snmptrapd
sed -i 's/LS0-6d/LS4d/g' /etc/sysconfig/snmpd
sed -i 's/Lsd/LS4d/g' /etc/sysconfig/snmptrapd

/sbin/service snmpd start >/dev/null 2>&1
/sbin/chkconfig snmpd --level 2345 on
/sbin/chkconfig snmpd --level 06 off

The HPSIM documentation should direct you to install a plugin (and a number of other agents) on your RHEL system. Use of that plugin (and configuration of the related agents) is what allows the RH snmpd to properly communicate back to HPSIM.

Every documentation it´s about setup GUI, I will setup CLI mode. I try but, I don't know what the correctly steps.

There used to be fairly complete guidance in the documentation-set that came with the HPSIM (or, maybe it was in the Proliant Support Pack documentation-bundle?). When we were still doing physical servers for non-virtualized hosting, I'd scripted out the whole process. I'd offer those scripts up, however, I've moved on from that job and no longer have access to the tools I wrote

what a pity, but thanks man!
