network issue after creatingNIC bonding

hi,
i have 2 NIC and create bonding on that ,,previously it was working fine,but today suddenly i am not able to get continues access of same server and when i m pinging same server some times it shows RTO....and some time its pinging......after that i have down one of my NIC...then i am able to get proper access of server

I have physically check there is no any NIC card issue.
Kindlu help

Which bonding mode did you use? Mode 1 and 5 and 6 require no switch config, but Mode 0 and 2 and 3 and 4 do require switch config.

Have you tested each slave individually to make sure it can respond on the IP configured on the bond?

Sometimes working and sometimes not does indicate that either the switch is not configured with a port group when it should be, or that one of the slaves is in the wrong VLAN or otherwise not able to respond on the same network as the other slave.

...does mode 0 require switch? I guess not..
