MRG Installation on RHEL 7

Latest response

Hi,

I am trying to install MRG on RHEL 7 by following the documentation in Chapter 1. Quickly Install MRG Messaging.

When executing the yum command (yum groupinstall "MRG Messaging"), I get an error stating "Group MRG Messaging does not exist".
Can anyone please help?

Thanks!

[root@localhost /]# yum groupinstall "MRG Messaging"

Warning: group MRG Messaging does not exist.

Hi Hemant,

MRG as described in the linked documentation is only available for RHEL 6. For RHEL 7, the Real Time portion is still available and documented here: https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en/red-hat-enterprise-linux-for-real-time/.

Regards, Radek

Thanks, will look into it.
