Permissions to Edit My Own Post

Latest response

I created a discussion that included some formatting errors. My attempt to edit the post immediately after it was submitted to post returned a notice:

This field has been disabled because you do not have sufficient permissions to edit it
Why is this in place?
Do I need a number of "experience points" before that becomes available?
Is this documented somewhere?
Is there a better way to implement the benefits provided by this "feature"?

I'm jumping into this as well. I am denied permission to edit any post on any new thread that I have personally created since about ... May of 2016.

Just had the same issue, can someone take a look at this?

Yes, even me noticed this, unable to make changes to original post.

Thanks for the feedback - this seems to be a recurring issue. We'll investigate and get this resolved.

Thanks David!

This issue should now be resolved. Let me know if you encounter any more problems!

I can edit now. Thanks for fixing this...

I was able to edit this post Thank the devs who fixed this!
