Ronny,

See if this solves your issue: https://access.redhat.com/solutions/1519923

Hi,

the problem is not to remove a host rather to remove a content view.
There must be a constraint between the content view and the host.
But i don't know which host caused the problem.

I try also to find it out with
Katello::ContentView.where(:name => "My ContenView").first.hosts
But this return no results.

I see that the contentview has also a constraint to a hostgroup.

To find out which hostgroup is depend on this contentview i try this. Katello::ContentView.where(:name => "My ContenView").first.hostgroups

After i had corrected the hostgroup, i was able to delete the contentview

Thanks for following up this post with a solution Ronny, I am sure I will come across this at some stage in the future.
