Some Packages in rhel-7-server-openstack-8-director-rpms not found

Latest response

Hello,

i am quite new to all this redhat environment and i hope thats the right place to post something like this.

Background:
I am evaluating Openstack in our company and already installed openstack many times in the last few weeks.
I am also able to download all the other packages everytime without any errors.

Issue:
Now, after the weekend, the installation of the python-tripleoclient package won't succeed because of two packages which belongs to the rhel-7-server-openstack-director-rpms repository.

Those packages are:
openstack-tripleo-heat-templates-0.8.14-11.el7ost.noarch
openstack-tripleo-heat-templates-kilo-0.8.14-11.el7ost.noarch

The error i am getting is just a simple 404 Not found followed by some classy "[Errno 256] No more mirrors to try".

Now my question: Is there a known issue about CDN stuff right now and can i download those packages somewhere else and install them manually?

Thanks in advice,
Tim

Hi Tim,

I'm not aware of a problem with CDN, but I'm able to reproduce the issue you're describing. I'll contact the Release Engineering team and ask them to take a look.

Regards, Radek

Thanks Radek for the quick response and your help, i really appreciate that.

Hopefully this issue can be resolved soon.

I see already. The packages are back online. Thanks again, for the quick reaction.

Great. I didn't receive any explanation yesterday, and it's still unclear to me what the problem was, but I'll see what we can find out. Thanks much for reporting this in the first place.

So the updates packages unfortunately weren't synced correctly, and had to be pushed again. I hope this doesn't happen too often, and thanks again for your report.

I am also facing same issue . I am not getting rhel-7-server-openstack-9-rpms and rhel-7-server-openstack-8-director-rpms in repos . How to get this

I'm having the same issue a year later. Someone toss me a clue?

Hi Steve,

You have two possibilities ... either be patient and wait some time until it's solved, or contact Customer Support.

Cheers :)
Christian
