Red Hat virtual machine hangs at Setting up Logical Volume Management
HI,
I have a virtual rhel 6.5 virtual machine and after rebooting the server the start process hangs at the step "Setting up Loigcal Volume Management: 8 logical volumes in volume group "vgroot" now active

Can you boot the system with a rescue disk, then examine the mounts one-by-one?
Additionally, see this link on system recovery topics at redhat.com. Examine the log files per the system recovery topics for possible clues to examine.
Whatever additional details you can provide in context will help other community members help you further.
Did anyone change the /etc/fstab?
Are there network mounts that are not mounting?
Are there any errors that you see after what you initially posted? Try the information in the links I posted in my reply, and reply back here and someone should chime in.
