Unregistering a system via the Subscription Manager

Latest response

I was curious as I can't seem to see how to do it, if there is a way to unregister an entitlement via the web GUI?

I am unloading alot of servers for a client, and part of my scripts are to do this, but it would be nice to validate and fix anything from the web interface.

Currently the only two methods I am aware of are for the linux applications, both the GUI and CLI tools.

Thanks,
Andrew.

Hello Andrew,

If I understand you correctly, you would like to delete registered systems in the Customer Portal.

To do so, click on Subscriptions in the upper left and scroll down until you see "Subscriber Inventory". Here you should see a link called "System" folowed by a number showing the count of registered systems. Click on either the word or the number. Now, you should see a list with the registered systems where you could select and delete them.

Hope this is what you were asking for.

Regards, Joerg

Jörg, thanks for this hint.
