RHEL 7.2 Client repo limitations
Hi,
Just broke down and purchased a RHEL 7.2 Client subscription. I installed RHEL 7.2 client on my laptop and tried to install a couple of packages (ipmitool, lm_sensors) via yum. Both times it came back and said "no package ipmitool" available. I then tried installing the epel-release repo and got the same message. The only repo that seems to be installed is redhat.repo. If I do a yum repolist all, there are tons of repos listed but they are all, except the redhat one, listed as disabled. Plus I have no idea where to find them...or do I still need to download/install them?
Does RHEL client limit the repos I can install?
Thanks,
Bill

Hello, I searched for it[1] and found that for the Client it is in the Optional Channel.
