I'm trying to register a newly built RHEL 7.1 server, but get the following:
[root@whsl45241 ~]# subscription-manager register --username=USER --password='XXXXXXXX' --auto-attach
USER cannot register with any organizations.

Would there be some assignment missing, some registering priviledges not yet attributed?

Do not share userid and/or passwords. Someone could steal your subscription.

Use your credentials to login to access.red hat.com and check if your subscription is active for one project I have seen that some subscriptions where set to become active at the first day of the next calendar month instead of the day of purchase.
