Problem with mounting a NFS - NetApp
Hi,
Our server ( RedHat 6.3) mounts to a NFS-Export from a NetApp and ran into some problem intermittently. Sometimes the server just hangs and only way to get it back is to reboot the server. This happens often but not always. Any solution for this?

You could try a lazy unmount on the server: "umount -l "
However, if this is happening frequently as you say it suggests an underlying issue. Do you see anything in /var/log/messages regarding the issue or networking? Is the NetApp filer being bounced unexpectedly? Is there some other sever that mounts the same share from NetApp that is hammering it by transferring lots of data?
