RHEL 6 Packages
I am using Redhat satellite version 5.5
I was wondering if there is a better and more efficient way to accomplish a task.
I have 645 packages that I need to verify if they came for the original RHEL 6 channel.
Here is how I am currently doing this task...from the Redhat Satellite I go to channels at the top then to Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server (v. 6 for 64-bit x86_64) then to packages and filter by the package names that I have.
I put the package name in the search box (db4-4.7.25-20.el6_7.x86_64) and search. If the package is from from the RHEL6 channel, the search returns the package name.
Is there a better way to do this and not waste time doing it all night?
Thanks
