Hi, I'm sure others will chime in here, but just a few questions... What led you to pursue the issue of memory leaking for that server? Is there some application that is having issues? Also, what version of Red Hat Linux are you using for that affected system? What role is that server fulfilling for you? I may not be able to respond back here, busy lately, but some additional context (and even more than what I've asked) for this server -and- details with the issue you are experiencing will help others to help you, Thanks!

KwangHeng,

This is before and after what exactly? a process starting or just a period of time?

Is your concern that cache is increasing but free memory is going down? if so this isn't a cause for concern at all and this is normal behaviour. If the kernel requires the memory the cache will be returned/freed.
