When we apply errata to any RHEL client system which is registered with RHSAT 6 we don't see any logs under yum.log. Is there a way to see this transactions at the client end?

What version of satellite are you running? 6.1.3 fixed https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1099226 which sounds like the same issue you are describing.
