Automount panfs with Identity Manager

Posted on

I have am building an HPC system using a Panasas array for storage. I have installed Identity Manager on a RHEL6.5 server. I am trying to use IDM to automount panfs storage. Has anyone done this? I have created the IDM entry and run ipa-client-automount --server=idm_server --location=notdefault.
The nsswitch.conf was edited to:
automount files sss

/etc/sssd/sssd.conf:
[domain/OURDOMAIN.NET]

cache_credentials = True
krb5_store_password_if_offline = True
ipa_domain = OURDOMAIN.NET
id_provider = ipa
auth_provider = ipa
access_provider = ipa
ldap_tls_cacert = /etc/ipa/ca.crt
ipa_hostname = host01.ourdomain.net
chpass_provider = ipa
ipa_dyndns_update = True
ipa_server = srv, idmserver.ourdomain.net
dns_discovery_domain = OURDOMAIN.NET
ipa_automount_location = notdefault
autofs_provider = ipa
[sssd]
services = nss, pam, autofs, ssh
config_file_version = 2

domains = OURDOMAIN.NET
[nss]

[pam]

[sudo]

[autofs]

[ssh]

[pac]

/etc/sysconfig/autofs
TIMEOUT=300
BROWSE_MODE="no"
MOUNT_NFS_DEFAULT_PROTOCOL=4
USE_MISC_DEVICE="yes"

A mountable fstab entry looks like this:
panfs://172.50.0.11/home /home panfs rw,callback-network-allow=172.40.0.0/16,rmlist=(172.50.0.11;172.50.0.12;172.50.0.13) 0 0

Thanks for your help.
Dave
