Tibco as a Red Hat Cluster resource
Hi
Is Tibco supported as a Red Hat Cluster Resource?
There is not an option available on the Luci console.
Or, what is the alternative to configure Tibco as a Cluster resource?
Responses
I'm told Tibco EMS has its own internal clustering.
To my knowledge this requires a heartbeat LAN to make a TCP connection between the two nodes, and a shared file system which supports locking such as NFS.
When the secondary node can't make a network connection to the primary, it checks the locked file. If the secondary can take a write lock on the file, it considers the primary dead and takes over.
This is third-hand information I've gleaned from other customers, so please ensure the proper setup with Tibco before deploying.
