I tried to update the system with "yum update" for an complete update with reboot -- and got the following messages:

I mentioned that the system is now to old for an regular update and need a special procedure.

Please tell me how to update the system.

Hi Michael,

Could you try running the commands suggested at https://access.redhat.com/solutions/1219063 ?

Radek

Hello,
yes, but the system is in production and i have to wait until next week.
Thanks Michael

OK, no worries. Let me know when you've had a chance to run the commands.

The Procedure helped. After rebuilding the database, all updates where applyed.
Thank you for your help.

Great! I'm glad to hear that.
