Hello Customer Portal community!

At the end of this month we'll be releasing an entirely new search infrastructure and user interface. The primary motivation for this initiative is the adoption of Apache Solr as a search back end, giving us increased control over how documents are indexed, stored and searched in the Customer Portal.

Alongside the new search engine, we've also re-designed the front end search application as a coherent part of the new visual experience we introduced last November. It's elegant, simple and fast and we can't wait for you to give it a test drive.
