RHEL7 and Apache downgrade 2.4 -> 2.2 ?
Hi,
We are installing IBM Cognos BI to a RHEL7 Server but Cognos only supports 2.0 and 2.2 versions of the Apache (this was asked from the support). I tried to find information about downgrading the Apache from version 2.4 to 2.2 but didn't find anything. So the question is: Is it possible to do this downgrade? How it should be done? I was thinking to remove the current installation of the Apache and then install the version 2.2.29.
Any ideas / advice's for this?
Thanks,
Mika

We're also looking at having Httpd 2.2 on RHEL 7 since we're currently working on a reverse proxy for Weblogic. Weblogic only has modules for Httpd versions 2.0 and 2.2 (without any trace of sources files sadly...). We'll keep looking but it looks like the easiest way to get 2.2 would be to downgrade to RHEL 6. The other way would be to install external RPM providers or to compile from source, both solution we don't want for maintainability reasons.
