RHEV ISO-Domain, no button

Latest response

Hello,

Not sure what has happened, I opted to setup the ISO-DOMAIN during setup of REVM... however documents I read seem to say that when I expand, and highlite a datacenter and go to storage tab, there should be an Attach ISO button. I do not have this button... are the documents out of date? I can't import the domain as the NFS share is on my RHEVM server and that isn't listed, only the compute nodes...

Or am I blind and the button is hiding? I'm using RHEVM 3.4

Thanks
Bill

ok, if I highlight a datacenter - below on the stoage tab there is an attach ISO... but it is greyed out.

I know that I created the domain when installing RHEVM - and when I shell into the RHEVM box, I see it listed in the /etc/exports

any idea why?

might as well be writing a blog here... so my data centre wasn't initialised. And I couldn't initialise it before I had set up a first storage domain - so set up my first FC storage domain and then data centre initialised and I was able to add the ISO storage domain, cool.

Hi Bill,

Great blog.

Thanks for posting back the details of your findings. Although you haven't had any responses, I am sure others (including me) will find this thread useful as the RHEV user base/community increases and more people hit issues like this.

Appreciate you sharing the answer here, Bill. Anything else we can help you out with?
