I don't have access to a RHEL 7 box at the moment, but this should get you what you need:
Find the location of the image you are wondering about, then execute

yum whatprovides /usr/share/backgrounds/image.png

which should tell you what package it belongs to.

Thanks, I did your way, and found it :D so simple... :D

Artur,

That bit James mentioned also works great to determine what to hunt for when yum fails on some dependency.
- I often take the file yum fails for look on another system has the file it fails for... Mercifully, I have a lot of systems and can often find said file (when this occurs, the typical culprit is if we had to accept a system from some place else that was not part of our build or some other such like factor)
- Look for it on another system with the locate command.
- The locate locate command works off of the indexing of your file system (from mlocate pacakge). Of course edit the /etc/updatedb.conf so the indexing does not hit your large storage, SAN or databases etc.
- Run locate against the file you're hunting for on that different hopefully like system that has it, and then you can then get the package that provides it with yum provides [your found file].

Of course, if an additional yum repository (local or remote) fails, it will impede yum activity until the repo is either made available or the repo file itself is disabled.
