Changing the default console URL

Hi Everyone,
Does anybody know it if's possible in JBoss EAP 6.1 to amend the default http:///console URL to allow me to connect to it via an alternative name (i.e. http:///console_node1). We're in a situation where the URL's will be accessed through a VIP with backend servers running on the same ports (so we can't easily amend the port allocation).

Can you clarify your request? The default management console's URL is http://:9990/console/App.html. Do you want to have the same host respond to, for example: http://:9990/console_node1/App.html ?

Hi Russell,
Yes, that's pretty much exactly what I'm after, this way our failover server can be configured as, for exampe, console_node2.

I have checked and confirmed that the URLs by which the management console are hard coded. Judging by the information you have provided, it is not possible to have the management console respond when accessed via an alternate URL.

If you have special requirements you might open a support request for further clarification.
There might be some possibilities, but maybe we can open a request for an enhancement.
