RHEL7 Workstation + devtoolset : cannot install
Hi
I have registered to a RHEL7 workstation standard subscription and to a Developer Suite subscription.
I can seen that both are attached and active, yet I cannot get the repo list to install the devtools.
I've detached and re-attached several times, I've also cleaned and re-registered everything, but no luck.
Anyone has been confronted to that problem? Have you found a solution?
Thanks
Fred

If I understand your issue correctly, there is a work-around. You can contact Red Hat and explain your situation and they can alter your subscription, for the remainder of the time left on the subscription.
I thought that the DTS subscription was all by itself (and is why it cannot be included with the other) and includes the OS subscription. (I could be completely wrong).
I messed up my subscription last year and Red Hat was helpful in resolving it.
From their Red Hat Developer page
https://access.redhat.com/products/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Linux/Developer#dev-page=7
Red Hat Enterprise Linux Developer Subscriptions provide you a flexible foundation to get started with Red Hat Enterprise Linux. They include Red Hat Enterprise Linux, built-in languages and tools, and related Red Hat Enterprise Linux Add-Ons for development use.
Frederic,
Let me provide some additional information and hopefully provide you some use of from your subscription.
Developer Toolset (DTS) is not yet on RHEL 7 (we're working on it), but you can use DTS on RHEL 6 now and compile on RHEL 6 for deploying on both RHEL 6 and 7.
WRT https://access.redhat.com/products/red-hat-enterprise-linux/developers - I will arrange to make the text a bit clearer for DTS on RHEL7.
WRT https://access.redhat.com/articles/911363 (see 4) - this is correct for Non-RHEL "Developer" subscriptions. All RHEL Developer Subscriptions (including the RHEL Developer Suite) DO include both Software Collections and DTS.
Also, note that Software Collections is available on both RHEL 6 and 7.
I hope this is helpful, but please advise if you have additional questions.
