Manage your Red Hat account and preferences

Your Red Hat account is a critical connection point to important information about your subscription and products. Completing your profile and establishing preferences help us get you the resources you need when you need them.


Updating your information

To access your Red Hat account information:

  1. Select your avatar (in the top corner of your screen)
  2. Select Account details.

Under Your information, you can:

  • Customize your personal information, including your email address, job title, and preferred methods of contact
  • Update your password to maintain optimal security
  • Provide your mailing address to ensure you receive information pertaining to your specific location

Be sure to save profile changes as you make them.

Under Your preferences, you can:

  • Choose a preferred language and time zone
  • Select your Errata notification* preferences

Be sure to save your preference updates as you make them. 


*What are Errata notifications? 

Red Hat customers can receive notifications of security updates, bug fixes, and enhancements. Based on your role in your organization, you may want to receive these updates more urgently, less frequently, or not at all.
