    RHEL 7 Beta systemd Discussion

    RHEL 7 ships with systemd and the old init scripts are now implicitly mapped into systemd service units during boot (see the file /etc/init.d/README on your Beta installation for more detail).

    We'd like to hear about your experiences with systemd on RHEL 7 Beta. We've maintained the 

    service
    command so that we don't break existing scripts that stop and start services, but systemd offers much more than just some backwards compatibility.
