An updated iwl6000g2a-firmware package that adds an enhancement is now available
for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.

Description

The iwl6000g2a-firmware package provides the firmware required by the iwlagn
driver for Linux to support Intel Wireless WiFi Link 6005 series adapters.

The iwl6000g2a-firmware package has been upgraded to upstream version
17.168.5.3, which provides an enhancement over the previous version. (BZ#729438)

All users of the iwlagn driver are advised to upgrade to this updated
iwl6000g2a-firmware package, which adds this enhancement.

Solution

Before applying this update, make sure all previously-released errata
relevant to your system have been applied.
